Every one of our animals is available for adoption, but some of the orphans in Old Fella's care have special needs and need to be adopted into special homes. Hi! My name is Fudge.
I was found by a nice lady who took me in when I was alone and hungry. Since then I have been living with her and a lot of other animals. I get along fine with everybody here and love my foster mom, but I really want a family all of my own.
Recently I started hurting and my foster mom took me to a nice lady doctor who took big shiny pictures of me. They both looked kind of sad when they were looking at the funny pictures. I heard them say something about hip dysplacia and surgery. I don't know what that is, but I do know the medicine helps a little, but I still hurt. I can't really run and play without hurting.
Everyone talks about how cute and sweet I am. I just know that I really like people and want to make them as happy as I am. I like to play, but I what I really like is to just be with people as much as I can. I would love to just lay down at my family's feet and watch over them.

***Update: Fudge's surgery is expected to cost between $1000 and $4000, depending on the type of surgery she will need. The vets are determining that now.

Molly

Molly is a middle aged (6-8 year old )GSD mix that came to the rescue after her owner could no longer care for her. Molly is a sweet, sweet girl who really deserves a special home. Molly has been diagnosed with heartworms which has caused some irreparable lung damage. Molly has also been diagnosed with bladder stones which will be removed when she is spayed. She will most likely require a special diet. Our vet is currently working on a course of treatments that will include treating the heartworms, removing the bladder stones and spaying. Molly's care is expected to be over $1000. We, at Old Fella Rescue, feel that Molly is worth it. She is an absolute love. Molly gets along well with other dogs, is fine with cats and adores attention. She will paw you to get your attention and petting. Molly has several good years left for the right forever family.
